15 years of high-impact HR experience

Talent & Succession, Restructuring, Diversity & Inclusion, Exit Mgmt, Personnel Planning

I have made a classic career in Human Resources, from Campus recruiting for a Strategy Consulting firm to setting up European HR Shared services for a German Multinational in the Chemical Industry where I held two global HR Business Partnering roles with frontline impact. I restructured a global business unit as well as a global Legal & IP department. Together with my team, we ran Post-Merger Integration, Diversity & Inclusion initiative, Competitive Compensation projects to name a few. As Head of HR, I reported directly to the General Counsel of a Fortune500/DAX30 and supported his leadership team on all talent, leadership and organization challenges. My leadership experience spans the US and Germany.

I now partner with Syspo excellence - a boutique consulting firm with a systemic approach to transition and exit Management.

STATE-OF-THE-ART HR BUSINESS PARTNERING

Dave Ulrich created a dream come true for any business leader - an HR person - or even HR organization -  who serves as Change Agent, Strategic ally and operational champion with only one purpose: to helps the enterprise win in the marketplace. Who doesn't want that?
As a former member of Dave's Think Tank, the RBL institute, and having attended multiple live sessions with him, I still believe in his simple, yet radical idea. Even though from own experience, good and bad, I see it more as an aspiration, even visionary CHRO concept. It's a constant reminder of my purpose as HR dealing with the people side of business and working with leaders of all levels. To help competing and WINNING in the market place. Taking it one at a time from where they stand and want to go in the future. With integrity and authenticity. This is what I love and where leaders say I add value.

HOW DO I HELP?

I am best at frontline work with leaders. Firefighting. Restructuring. Transitions. Difficult conversations. Keeping calm on multiple fronts. Being super quick in filling voids, with little details yet. Still making sure the right details are being brought up through a systemic-based coaching mindset. Using my strong intuition, which is founded on over a decade of experience with the people side of change in Europe and the US. Always searching creatively for the win-win scenario in any difficult people situation. And in today's world, where we emotionalize work and rationalize love, they always are. Understanding the organization, its people and challenges comes easy to me. Asking the right questions, I find out most importantly, where do leaders want to go? How can I contribute? What needs to get done, why, how and when.
My skills: recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, talent fit/ optimization, Succession Planing, facilitating talent reviews, transition and exit management, mediation/conflict resolution, M&A mainly  post Merger Integration, general HR skills in Comp & Ben, Mobility etc.
